Don't just take our word for it!

I phoned APG Electric in hopes of having an electrician come to my home and fix whatever had rendered the electrical sockets in the upstairs bathrooms useless. George answered my phone call promptly and asked me to describe the problem, which I did. He then told me that a house call was unnecessary because he could easily teach me (a 73-year-old retired English teacher) to fix the problem. I was initially doubtful but true to his word, George talked me through the process, using our phones in less, than 5 minutes. I’m now confident that I could repeat the procedure he taught me on my own. Should my house develop a more complex problem that requires a polite, innovative, knowledgeable electrician, I’ll be sure to call George!

George and Alex replaced some misbehaving recessed light fixtures in my kitchen. The problem was a bit unusual, and I was happy when they actually spent time trying to understand and diagnose it, in contrast to my experience with other electricians who were less willing, or less able, to do so. They put together a reasonable proposal to do the job on a time-and-materials basis and were able to get me on their schedule pretty quickly. The planning was done over the course of a couple of emails with little fuss – it was simple enough I almost wondered if they were going to show up on the appointed day, but they did, on time. I’m happy with the work they did. Labor costs were somewhat more than estimated but still less than another fixed-price quote I received for the same job. I’d call them again for future electrical work.

We contacted George at APG to give us a quote on replacing our outdated, worn-out panel…George showed up and gave me a detailed walkthrough of what needed doing, the time he thought they could get to it, and followed up with an estimate, which turned out to be right on the money…they were not the least expensive, nor the most…he gave me a feeling of confidence that they were the ones to complete our job….they showed up as scheduled and completed the change over in a timely fashion, getting the job done efficiently and perfectly …when they left, you would never have known they were here except we had a new panel….we have not had a problem with dimming lights and breakers not responding since…we could not be more satisfied….I’m very fussy and I highly recommend these folks….thanks guys….they are “as good as it gets”.

My husband and I cannot explain how incredibly happy we are with George and Alex!!! We just moved to the area and are first-time home buyers. George gave us a quote and was incredibly thorough with explaining exactly what he needed to do. He emailed us the quote and was very helpful when he explained what we needed step by step. We had them install an outlet behind and to the side of our big screen television and then mount our television above the fireplace. Their work was very thorough, clean, professional, and we will DEFINITELY recommend them to our friends and family!!! He even texted us a picture of the finished job because we wouldn’t be home for many hours. We have many other projects around the house and we will be using them again! Thanks again George!!!
